I’m convinced of it.  I’m grateful for his animal identity confusion if it means he gets extra lives to go with his thinking it’s comfortable and ok to hang out in my lap.  In his two short years he has been abused, starved, abandoned, denied medical care, been attacked by (at least) two dogs, been stuck at the SPCA and Animal Care and Control for a year, lost a K9 tooth, and been hit by a car.

Moral of the story:  My dog > your dog
